Motherhood - Noblest Profession
Thursday, April 24, 2008
"The noblest calling in the world is that of mother. True motherhood is the most beautiful of all arts, the greatest of all professions. She who can paint a masterpiece or who can write a book that will influence millions deserves the plaudits and admiration of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters whose immortal souls will be exerting an influence throughout the ages long after painting shall have faded, and books and statues shall have been destroyed, deserves the highest honor that man can give."
~ David O. McKay

Motherhood is a full time profession and undoubtedly the most rewarding one. You might not draw a salary after every month is over for rearing your kid, but a mother's reward is the content and peace at heart which only she receives and only she can feel. I have seen mothers who give up their career for their kids but always have been dissatisfied and wanted to go back to their work. One of them is my neighbor, Daniella who gave up her career (for her son) as an architect and cribs everyday for the same. I would like to tell mothers like Daniella , (if they are reading my post) that pleeeease, for God's sake be assured that you are doing a better job of building a character , making human minds and human beings. Please don't crib about your past jobs. One day you shall realize what you put in everyday in your kids will make the person that he is. So please take the job of a mother seriously and passionately. Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers. If you know a Mother, appreciate her for her motherhood through these mothers day cards below.

Working Mothers
Monday, April 7, 2008
Today mothers do not only bake bread, they earn it too. It is an increasing trend among mothers, specially those inhabiting urban and sub-urban areas, to handle both parent-teacher meetings and corporate meetings with the same elan. So if your mom is working, take this Mothers Day as an excuse to salute the working mother for her exclusive strength and courage.

It is very difficult to be a working woman if you have a family in tow. It therefore goes without saying that working mothers have it really tough. They have to take care of a lot of extra things that can slip through the mind of any human being. But, surprising though it may seem, she remembers everything!

Wish your working mom the best on this Mothers Day. She deserves all the care that you can accumulate by your frail efforts.

Mothers Day gift ideas- mothers day cards
Friday, April 4, 2008
In case you are looking for Mothers Day ideas about gifts, surprises , cards and others, then here's something that might help you. This is the day you can go on from morning to night. And surprises mean proper planning, done way ahead. I think right from the moment surprising your mother gets up from bed on Mothers Day, bomb her with surprises. For example, you can make her a delicious breakfast (that means you wake up a bit early to cook). Don't forget to remember her favorite dishes before cooking. Same with lunch and dinner. May be for one meal , you can also take her to her favorite restaurant.
When it comes to gifts, you again need to give her things of her choice – may be a good perfume, a dress that she wanted to have for long, some book she would love to read, or take her to the movie theater if she is a movie buff and so on.

Make her feel really special, in every way. After all it's her day. You can also decorate the house , specially for her, just like she wants it to be. And keep your room in order, as she had always asked you to, but in vain. If you stay away from her, then pay her a surprise visit and then do the rest. More than me, you will know best what will bring the best smiles on your Mom's face. So just think about it and plan the surprises. Have a great day. You can also comment on my post and share your mother day ideas. And here's wishing all you mothers a very Happy Mothers Day with this free Mothers Day Cards. Send these Mothers day cards to Your mothers and all the women you adore as mothers.
