Mothers Day Recipe - Cherry Cheesecake
Wednesday, April 23, 2008
Hey, I found today is Cherry Cheesecake Day. And I was in an experimental mood and thought of baking myself one. I thought this would be a great gift idea for Mothers Day, as mom would be surprised to see me baking all by myself. Heres the simple recipe that I followed.

Ingredient

* vanilla extract(1 teaspoon)
* cherry pie filling (21 ounces)
* graham cracker crumbs (1 cup)
* sugar(1 cup)
* cream cheese(24ounces)
* eggs( 3 large)
* margarine (3 tablespoons)

Directions

* Crumbs and margarine are to be combined and pressed onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
* Bake the mixture at 325 degrees F for 10 minutes.
* Cream ,cheese and sugar,to be combined and then mixed at moderate speed
on an electric mixer until well blended.
* Add eggs, one at a time and mix well after each addition.
* Vannila to be blended in and poured over crust.
* Bake at 450 degrees F, for 10 minutes.
* Reduce oven temperature to 250 degrees F from 450 degrees, and then continue baking for 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
* Loosen cake from pan rim; cool before removing rim of pan.
* Chill the cake.
* Pie filling to be topped just before serving. Enjoy
